Azerbaijan’s judo team qualified for the finals of the World Championship among mixed teams held in Zagreb.
According to İdman.biz, it includes Muhammad Musayev, Umid Gurbanov (both 60 kg), Maryam Bayramzada, Vusala Hajiyeva (both 48 kg), Aslan Kotsoyev, Mehdi Abbasov (both 81 kg), Khadija Gadashova (63 kg), Rasul Samadli, Ramazan Ahmadov (both +81 kg) and Kamilla Tokholiyeva (+63 kg), our team started with a 4:1 victory over Greece. Azerbaijani judokas defeated their Kazakh opponents (4:2) in the ¼ finals, and Turkey (4:3) in the semi-finals.
Our team will face France in the final.
