On January 24, the report-election conference of the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan Republic (EFAR) was held.
Idman.biz reports that the president of the federation Elchin Guliyev, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Deputy Minister Mariana Vasileva and Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzada participated in the event.
First, the general secretary of the federation, Bahruz Nabiyev, who gave a report on the sports results of 2023, informed about the events held in the country during the year, participation in international tournaments and achievements. Then, based on the achievements achieved during the year, the winners were announced in special nominations. The winners were awarded by Elchin Guliyev, Farid Gayibov, Chingiz Huseynzada.
Later, a new election was held for the leadership of the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan Republic. Elchin Guliyev was again elected as the president of the federation for the next term. The President of the Federation delivered a speech and thanked for the renewed trust and informed about the work to be done and new plans. At the end of the event, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzada spoke and wished success to the leadership of the federation.
It should be noted that Elchin Guliyev has been leading the Equestrian Federation of Azerbaijan Republic since 2009.
