Today, the final stage of the gymnastics competitions within the 18th European Youth Summer Olympic Festival will kick off in the city of Osijek, Croatia.
In the first round, Azerbaijani national team member Albina Aliyeva placed 8th in the individual vault event in artistic gymnastics with a score of 12.900, Idman.biz reports.
Having qualified for the final, the gymnast will compete again today in the same event.
In the team competition, Albina Aliyeva ranked 37th with a score of 45.900, Aynaz Majidzade placed 67th with 43.550, and Leyla Mammadzade was 98th with 28.150. With these results, the Azerbaijani gymnasts ranked 19th in the team standings.
The gymnastics competitions are being held at the “Gradski Vrt” sports hall in Osijek, Croatia.
