At the Universiade held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany, the Azerbaijani national team has secured another medal.
According to special correspondent of Idman.biz in Germany, the rhythmic gymnastics group exercise team placed second in the routine with 3 balls and 2 hoops.
The team, consisting of Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelyzaveta Luzan, Gullu Aghalarzade, and Kamilla Aliyeva, scored 23.950 points, falling just short of Ukraine, who won with 24.100 points. Taiwan took third place with 23.000 points.
As a result, the rhythmic gymnastics group team concluded the Universiade with three medals. The Azerbaijani gymnasts had previously won gold in the all-around and ribbon routines.
