The gold medal-winning rhythmic gymnastics group team at the 32nd Summer World Universiade in Germany’s Rhine-Ruhr region has been awarded their medals.
According to special correspondent of Idman.biz in Germany, the gold medals were presented to our athletes.
Our gymnasts stood on the top step of the podium in the all-around event. According to Universiade rules, national anthems are not played during the award ceremonies.
This was Azerbaijan’s first medal at the competition. The group routine team will compete in two more finals tomorrow.
