Azerbaijani team ranked 13th in the group exercises at the Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In the all-around, the team consisting of Nazrin Abdullayeva, Roya Alikishiyeva, Ayan Nasirova, Shams Muvaffaghi and Nazrin Salmanli performed with five hoops and five pairs of clubs, Idman.biz reports.
In the two events, they scored 42,300 points and came in 13th, ahead of their competitors from 22 countries. Azerbaijani gymnasts failed to reach the finals in the individual events.
Today is the last day of the world championship. Two of Azerbaijani gymnasts will participate in the final: Fidan Gurbanli with clubs, and Azada Atakishiyeva with hoop.
