The 40th World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship ended in Valencia (Spain).
According to İdman.biz, on the final day of the competition, the final stage of individual competitions between teams was held in group activities.
Azerbaijan national team performed in the final with three tapes and two balls and took the fifth place. The group consisting of Laman Alimuradova, Zeynab Gummatova, Gullu Aghalarzadeh, Elizaveta Luzan and Kamilla Aliyeva scored 30,300 points and beat Japan, Bulgaria and Mexico.
It should be noted that according to the results of the World Cup, Zohra Aghamirova won an Olympic license in the individual competition, was 12th in the all-around and definitely entered the final of the championship.
