Araz-Nakhchivan, set to compete in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, has strengthened its squad.
According to information provided by the club to Idman.biz, the Azerbaijani champion has signed a Brazilian futsal player.
Araz-Nakhchivan has signed a one-year contract with 25-year-old Alexandre Teixeira Barbosa, who spent last season with Kazakhstan’s Jetisu.
Araz-Nakhchivan will compete in Group F of the preliminary round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League. The Nakhchivan club will face Northern Ireland’s Sparta (Belfast) on August 27, Scotland’s PYF the following day, and Austria’s Ljuti on August 30.
