UEFA has issued a warning to the “Araz-Nakhchivan” club.
Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that the warning is related to the team’s matches in the UEFA Conference League.
The Nakhchivan representative faced the warning due to their matches against Greece’s “Aris” in the second qualifying round held in Baku.
The European football organization had to issue the warning to the club for “improper conduct by the team” in both matches.
The reason is notable. Eight players of the team received yellow cards for rough play in the first match. In the return leg, Igor Ribeiro received a red card, and six of his teammates received yellow cards.
“Araz-Nakhchivan,” who defeated “Aris” 2-1 in Baku, advanced to the next round after a 2-2 draw in the away leg.
