The clubs that have spent the most money over the past five years have been revealed.
Idman.biz, citing foreign media, reports that Chelsea tops the list.
The London club has spent €1.77 billion during this period.
Another English club, Manchester United, spent €1.07 billion in the same timeframe.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) ranks third with €1.04 billion.
The next four spots are also occupied by English clubs: Manchester City (€973 million), Arsenal (€922 million), Tottenham (€878 million), and Liverpool (€788 million).
Juventus (€680 million), Newcastle (€677 million), and West Ham (€642 million) complete the top ten.
While eight English clubs are in the top ten, no Spanish or German teams made the list.
