Baris Alper Yilmaz, who drew attention last season with his impressive performance at “Galatasaray” and has maintained that form, wants to leave the club.
He has accepted an offer from Saudi Arabia’s Neom, Idman.biz reports.
The player has not attended training with his team over the past three days, insisting that the club management honor the promise made last season.
The “Galatasaray” management had promised Alper during the 2024-25 season that they would accept an offer if it came in the next season. Negotiations between the player and “Galatasaray” are ongoing.
“Neom” officials offered over €30 million plus €5 million for Alper, while “Galatasaray” rejected this offer and demanded €60 million, including a 20% stake from “Keciorengucu.” The Saudi club has also promised Baris Alper Yilmaz a net annual salary of €9 million.
