Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Sporting CP winger Flavio Goncalves during the upcoming winter transfer window.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing Caught Offside, the 19-year-old Portuguese forward has attracted attention from both Premier League clubs, who are considering a potential January move.
Goncalves has a €60 million release clause in his current contract. However, Chelsea and Manchester United reportedly value the player at between €45 million and €50 million and could submit offers within that range.
The young winger has made nine appearances across all competitions this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
Goncalves remains under contract with Sporting until the summer of 2030, giving the Portuguese club a strong negotiating position ahead of any potential transfer talks.
According to Transfermarkt, the player's current market value stands at €15 million, significantly below both his reported release clause and the amount the English clubs are reportedly willing to offer.
