The head coach of the Ganja team, Adil Shukurov, gave a statement to the club’s press service after the game, Idman.biz reports.
The coach spoke about the reasons for the defeat, emphasizing that the squad is not yet complete: “The boys played under fatigue. They’re being physically overloaded in training. That’s why they played the match under heavy strain. We conceded goals due to minor defensive errors. If we had been a bit more precise in certain episodes, such mistakes wouldn’t have happened.”
The head coach also stated that there are shortcomings in every position: “Negotiations are ongoing, and once our new transfers arrive, we’ll see a better-organized team. Since the squad isn’t yet complete, we’re being forced to play some players out of position. This is affecting the team’s performance. Once the players start playing in their natural roles, we’ll become a more competitive and result-oriented team.”
