“Araz-Nakhchivan’s” opponent in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League has been determined.
The Azerbaijani representative will face Cyprus’ “Omonia” club, Idman.biz reports.
Entering the tournament in the second round, “Omonia” eliminated Kutaisi’s “Torpedo” with aggregate scores of 1:0 and 4:0. The first leg between the teams will be held on August 7 in Baku, with the return match scheduled for August 14 in Nicosia.
“Araz-Nakhchivan” advanced by defeating “Aris” with an aggregate score of 2:1 and 2:2.
“Omonia” eliminated “Zira” in last season’s Conference League play-offs (6:0, 0:1).
