Zira faced Hajduk away in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round, Idman.biz reports.
Just like the first leg in Baku, the match in Split also ended in a draw in regular time. Fighting hard against a strong opponent, Zira avoided defeat with a goal in the 90+3rd minute. Having gone down to 10 men in the 77th minute, the Azerbaijani side lacked the strength to push further. Hajduk scored the winning goal in extra time and advanced to the next round.
Zira has made an early exit from the tournament.
