“I had to return to Arda because I’m under contract.”
This was stated to Sport24.az by Jalal Huseynov, who plays for the Bulgarian club Arda, Idman.biz reports.
The defender said that despite receiving offers from Azerbaijani clubs, he is currently continuing with Arda: “I had offers from Azerbaijan, and we had talks with a few clubs. But right now, I have a contract with Arda and I’m fully focused on the team. I want to stay here until the end of my contract. We’re competing in the Conference League. I’m playing in the starting lineup, everything is going well. But this is football, anything can happen at any moment. In the Conference League match, we faced HJK. The game was mostly under our control. The opponent didn’t have a single accurate shot on goal, while we failed to convert 2–3 clear scoring chances. HJK is a team we can beat. Our goal in the Conference League is to advance as far as possible.”
