Idman.biz reports that these were the words of Cristian Avram, goalkeeper of Araz-Nakhchivan, in an interview with AZERTAC about their 2:1 victory in the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round against Greece’s “Aris.”
The Moldovan goalkeeper said the second match will be more difficult: “Nothing is over yet. A tougher game awaits us in Greece. It’s a great feeling to win the club’s debut match in Europe. We want to continue this in the away game as well. Even though we conceded the first goal, the fans didn’t lose enthusiasm and supported us until the end. I am proud of my team. The determination was excellent.”
The return leg between the teams will take place on July 31 in Greece.
