Liverpool rejects Bayern’s £58.6m bid for Luis Diaz

Liverpool have turned down a £58.6 million offer from Bayern Munich for Colombian forward Luis Diaz, reinforcing their stance that the player is not for sale. The Bundesliga side made the opening bid earlier this month, but the Reds swiftly rejected it, valuing the 28-year-old well above £87 million.

Idman.biz, citing BBC, reports that Diaz, under contract until 2027, was a key figure for Liverpool last season, scoring 22 goals for club and country, including 13 in the Premier League, helping the team secure the title by a 10-point margin. The Colombian has also drawn interest from Manchester City and clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Despite the firm “not for sale” message, Liverpool are actively seeking to strengthen their attacking options. They’ve shown serious interest in Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and have begun exploring a possible deal. The Reds are also keeping tabs on other centre-forward targets as they shape Arne Slot’s first squad.
