“Time to say goodbye after two and a half years.”
This is what Albanian footballer Redon Xhixha wrote on his social media account as he bid farewell to Qarabag, Idman.biz reports.
He expressed his gratitude to the club: “Thank you to the players I shared the pitch and dressing room with, and to the staff, with whom I’ll always keep a friendly relationship. I’m grateful to the fans who supported me both when I played and when I didn’t. I wish you all the best. It was a pleasure to be a part of you. Thank you, Qarabag.”
Redon Xhixha has transferred to Algerian side SSPA CR Belouizdad. He had joined Qarabag in January 2023 and won the Azerbaijan Premier League title three times, as well as the domestic cup once. The forward made 73 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 5 assists.
