The prize money Real Madrid earned from their performance in the Club World Cup has been revealed.
Real Madrid advanced to the semifinals of the tournament, where they were defeated 0-4 by PSG, Idman.biz reports.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Real earned 74.4 million euros from the tournament. Of this, 31.4 million euros was received just for participation. They earned 3.7 million euros for each win against Pachuca and Salzburg in the group stage, and 925 thousand euros for the draw with Al-Hilal.
For victories over Juventus and Borussia Dortmund in the Round of 16 and quarterfinals, Real earned 23.8 million euros and 19.5 million euros respectively.
