Idman.biz reports that these are the words of Pedro Bicalho, Qarabag’s new signing, in a statement to the club’s press service.
The Brazilian midfielder said he had no hesitation in accepting the offer: “What we saw truly delighted us. We weren’t very informed about the club beforehand, but Qarabag is the biggest club in the region. They’ve consistently achieved success domestically and made a strong impression in European competitions. That’s why I didn’t hesitate to accept the offer.”
Bicalho also spoke about his personal goals: “For me, joining this club is a new challenge. I’ll do my best to quickly adapt and become an integral part of the team. I want to contribute to Qarabag’s ambitions and experience the thrill of playing in the Champions League. This is also an opportunity for personal growth. I’ve joined a club with big goals, and our aim remains the same — to achieve success in European competitions and represent the country with pride. We’ll also work hard to maintain our dominance in domestic competitions. I know football is developing in Azerbaijan, and we’ll face strong opponents both in Europe and in the Premier League and Cup. We’ll fight to bring more titles to our fans.”
The 24-year-old Brazilian has signed a 3+1-year contract with Qarabağ and will wear the number 35 jersey.
