A dominant display has earned Sabah the championship title at the Qonaev City Cup international youth football tournament in Kazakhstan.
The U14 team from Baku delivered a stunning performance throughout the competition, held in the city of Qonaev, Idman.biz reports.
In the semifinal, Sabah crushed local side Ceyran with a massive 9-0 victory, powered by four goals each from Ali Hajiyev and Murad Mammadzada, and one from Hasan Mammadov.
The team, led by head coach Ilgar Mansimov, maintained its momentum in the final, thrashing Kazakhstan’s OSDYSH Qonaev 9-0 once again.
Murad Mammadov was once more unstoppable, netting four goals, while Ulvi Alizade added a brace. The scoring was rounded out by Hasan Ramazanov, Hasan Mammadov, and Oruch Najafli.
