Iranian national team striker and Shabab Al-Ahli (UAE) player Sardar Azmoun has made a generous gesture amid the country’s ongoing crisis.
Following recent missile strikes in Iran, many residents from Tehran province and other affected regions have been forced to relocate to the country’s northern areas, Idman.biz reports.
Iranian media reports that Azmoun has rented out a hotel in the city of Gonbad-e Kavus, located in Golestan Province, for an entire month to provide temporary shelter for displaced families. Thanks to his initiative, numerous families now have a safe place to stay during this difficult time.
The 30-year-old forward, of Turkmen origin, was born in Gonbad-e Kavus and began his football journey at the local club, Oghab.
