The draw for the league phase of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League will take place tomorrow in Monaco.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the ceremony will begin at 20:00 Baku time and will determine the opponents of all 36 clubs, including Azerbaijani champions Sabah.
Twenty-nine teams have qualified directly for the league phase, while seven have secured their places through the play-offs.
Under the new format, each club will face eight different opponents. Teams will be drawn against two clubs from each of the four pots, playing four matches at home and four away.
Sabah are placed in Pot 4 based on their UEFA coefficient and will therefore face two opponents from each pot. The Azerbaijani champions could be drawn against some of the biggest clubs in European football.

Bayern Munich (Germany), Real Madrid (Spain), Paris Saint-Germain (France), Liverpool (England), Inter (Italy), Manchester City (England), Arsenal (England), Barcelona (Spain), Atletico Madrid (Spain).
Pot 2
Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Roma (Italy), Sporting (Portugal), Aston Villa (England), Porto (Portugal), Manchester United (England), Club Brugge (Belgium), Real Betis (Spain), PSV (Netherlands).
Pot 3
Feyenoord (Netherlands), Lille (France), winner of Lyon – Fenerbahce, Bodo/Glimt (Norway), Napoli (Italy), RB Leipzig (Germany), Villarreal (Spain), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), Galatasaray (Türkiye).
Pot 4
Slavia Prague (Czechia), Stuttgart (Germany), winner of AEK Athens – Levski, winner of Viking – Dinamo Zagreb, Como (Italy), Lens (France), winner of Celje – Slovan Bratislava, LASK (Austria), Sabah (Azerbaijan).
The final composition of Pots 3 and 4 will be confirmed following the remaining four play-off second legs scheduled for today. AEK Athens will face Levski, Viking will meet Dinamo Zagreb, Celje will take on Slovan Bratislava, while Lyon will play Fenerbahce.
Sabah reached the Champions League league phase for the first time in the club's history after eliminating Israel's Hapoel Beer-Sheva 6-4 on aggregate in the play-off round.
The first league-phase matches will be played on September 8-10. Sabah's eight opponents will be determined in the draw, while UEFA will confirm the exact dates and kick-off times of the fixtures no later than August 29.
