Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane is on the verge of setting a historic Bundesliga scoring record ahead of the start of the 2026/27 season.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the England captain has scored 98 goals in just 94 Bundesliga appearances since joining the German giants.
The record for the fewest matches needed to reach 100 goals in the Bundesliga is currently held by legendary Cologne striker Dieter Muller, who reached the milestone in his 129th appearance.
Kane therefore needs just two more goals to become the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach the 100-goal mark. Even if he requires several matches to score them, the 33-year-old has a considerable margin to break Muller's long-standing record.
Given Kane's remarkable scoring rate in Germany, the milestone could be reached in the opening weeks of the new Bundesliga campaign.
Bayern will begin their 2026/27 Bundesliga season on August 28.
