Azerbaijani FIFA referee Elchin Masiyev has received a new international assignment.
Masiyev will officiate the Group C match between Georgia and Portugal in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship taking place in Slovakia, Idman.biz reports.
He will be assisted by Elshad Abdullayev and Parvin Talibov, while Alexis Herrera from Venezuela will serve as the fourth official.
The match is scheduled for June 17 at the Šiška Stadium in Trenčín, with kickoff at 20:00 Baku time.
Notably, Masiyev previously refereed the Czech Republic vs England match on June 12, which ended in a 3–1 victory for the English side.
