German clubs have reignited transfer talks with Azerbaijan national team striker Mahir Emreli following his decision to turn down an offer from English side Hull City.
Idman.biz, citing Sportal.az, reports that Emreli has also rejected potential opportunities in the Turkish Super League, with a clear preference to continue his career in Germany.
Bundesliga sides Hertha BSC and Hoffenheim have reportedly resumed negotiations with the 27-year-old forward. Both clubs have offered him a 1+1 year contract.
Emreli, who most recently played for Nürnberg, has yet to make a final decision regarding his next destination.
