Qarabag has completed its first signing of the summer transfer window.
Idman.biz, via Sportinfo.az, reports that the Azerbaijani champions have reached an agreement with Brazilian defensive midfielder Pedro Bicalho, who is currently valued at €700,000.
The South American is expected to arrive in Azerbaijan tomorrow. He will undergo a medical before officially signing with the club.
Bicalho, a talent of Brazilian powerhouse Palmeiras, was loaned to Portuguese side Santa Clara in 2022. After returning to Palmeiras six months later, he went on to play for Vitória and then spent the last two seasons with Alverca.
The 24-year-old midfielder’s loan deal with Palmeiras ends on June 30. During the 2024/25 season in Portugal’s second division, he made 33 appearances (21 as a starter) and scored 2 goals.
