"Such news doesn't affect us at all."
Sabah head coach Vasiliy Berezutskiy addressed speculation about his potential resignation during the pre-match press conference ahead of the Azerbaijan Cup final against Qarabag, Idman.biz reports.
The Russian coach dismissed the circulating rumors and urged focus on the upcoming final:
"It's too early to talk about such things. I don’t follow the media, so this kind of news doesn’t affect me. If we start reacting to everything, I should’ve left a week after my appointment. Let’s talk about this after the match."
Reports have suggested that Berezutskiy could be replaced by Ruslan Rotan, current head coach of Ukrainian side Oleksandriya.
The final will be played on May 31.
