Inter earned a record-breaking amount of revenue from the Champions League semifinal match in Milan, where they defeated Barcelona 4-3 after extra time.
The match was attended by a total of 75,504 spectators, including 4,253 in the away section, Idman.biz reports.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter is estimated to have earned around €14.7 million from ticket sales. This is the highest amount ever collected for a match held in Italy.
Previously, the record belonged to the 2023 Champions League semifinal second-leg Milan derby, where the Nerazzurri earned €12.5 million.
