Two teams that faced Qarabag in the group stage met in London, where Tottenham hosted Bodø/Glimt. The home side claimed a solid 3-1 victory, taking a strong advantage into the second leg.
In the other match, two clubs from Europe’s “Big Five” leagues clashed as Athletic Bilbao welcomed Manchester United. Contrary to expectations, the visitors delivered a dominant performance, winning 3-0 without reply.
