International football leaders unite in Azerbaijan to tackle climate change at COP29  - PHOTO

Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, met with representatives from prominent football clubs who are in Azerbaijan to attend the COP29 conference.

The meeting included high-profile figures such as:

- Rishi Jain, Director of Impact at Liverpool

- Rocío Torres, Head of Sustainability and Responsible Business at Atletico Madrid
- Teresa Santos, Sustainability Manager of Porto
- Marcus Perry, Sustainability Manager of Tottenham
- Rafael Muela Pastor, General Manager of the Real Betis Foundation
- Katia Alencar, Director of Flamengo
- Asif Asgarov, Board Member of Qarabag

Minister Gayibov expressed gratitude for their participation and acknowledged the efforts of Qarabağ FC in facilitating their visit.
