Judge Siyavush Hajiyev of the Baku Court On Grave Crimes has passed away.
According to Idman.biz, citing Bakupost.az, Hajiyev experienced a sudden health complication while playing football at a field in Baku. Despite the arrival of emergency medical assistance, he could not be saved and reportedly suffered a heart attack.
Hajiyev, born in 1961, served in various positions within law enforcement before continuing his career as a judge. He had held his position at the Baku Court On Grave Crimes since 2018.
