Another possible rival of Qarabag in the Champions League 2024/2025 season has been revealed.
Idman.biz informs that Slovan, who won the title of Slovakian champion, can face the Agdam club.
Slovakia ranked 29th and Azerbaijan ranked 30th in the ranking table of the tournament. The champions of both countries will join the competition from the 1st qualifying stage. Both Qarabag and Slovan will be among the seeded ones.
UEFA will organize the 2024/2025 season of the Champions League in a new format. 36 clubs will compete for victory.
It should be noted that Slovan became the champion of Slovakia for the 6th time in a row, and for the 22nd time in total. The club was the strongest in the League within Czechoslovakia 8 times.
