Araz-Nakhchivan is interested in signing Azerbaijan national team defender Rahil Mammadov.
Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo, reports that negotiations with the player are nearing completion.
The 29-year-old defender has largely agreed to the financial terms proposed by the Premier League bronze medalists, and unless any last-minute issues arise, he is expected to sign a one-year contract.
Mammadov, a product of Neftchi’s academy, recently concluded his stint abroad. After two years in Poland, he returned home. Mammadov spent the 2023/24 season with LKS Lodz and later joined Radomiak following LKS's relegation from the Polish Ekstraklasa.
