He emphasized that there is little sponsor interest in the clubs playing in the Azerbaijan championship. According to Sultanov, the new management can solve this problem: "Perhaps all sponsors are ready to take the clubs. They are waiting for July. I can't say anything now. Today, every person can find a sponsor through their personal connections. Rovshan Najaf has the power to do this. In my opinion, this will be one of the best steps that can be taken in the development of football. I believe that the new management has the power to attract sponsors to our football."
Sultanov also showed the ways out of the lack of fans, which is the main problem of our football: "The interest of fans can be increased in the regions. It is very difficult to do this in Baku. Because the teams do not have Ronaldo, so they come. They are middle level teams. Our most established club is Neftchi, they don't even go to its matches. You need a program to collect fans. It is necessary to work on its basis. In 1980-83, when Neftchi played, 3 cars were brought to the field, a lottery was played, and the fans waited after the match to see if they would win a car. Currently, some clubs have "Fan Zones". But this is not enough. Today, mentally, when we go to work, we all expect profit."
It should be noted that Rovshan Najaf replaced Rovnag Abdullayev in the position of AFFA president.
