Idman.biz reports that this is what former Slovenia national team defender and current head coach of Austria’s Blau-Weiss club, Mitja Morec, told Sportal.az.
The Slovenian coach assessed the chances of both teams ahead of today’s UEFA Europa League first qualifying round second leg between Celje and Sabah.
According to Morec, his compatriots are still the favorites for the match: “I’ve said before that Celje is a good team and plays quality football. They performed very well in the away game. Celje is again the favorite for the return leg and could win again. To be fair, Sabah also fought hard and played well. But ultimately, Celje played good football and won. The second match is a new game, it starts from scratch with the score at 0–0. Celje will play in front of their home fans and will want to win. I can't predict the score, but what’s certain is that it will be an interesting match.”
The Celje vs. Sabah game is scheduled for today and will kick off at 22:00 Baku time.
