He commented on Qarabag becoming the champion of Azerbaijan for the 11th time. According to Hajiyev, the team of Gurban Gurbanov continues to write new history, and the competition in the Premier League needs time to improve: "Qarabag is already ahead of other rivals with a big difference of points in March. However, over time, we believe that it will be able to compete with other clubs. Also, there is tension between the teams fighting for the European Cup in the championship. This is actually a good thing. Everything will go better after the competition."
The general secretary also touched on the work of the Working Group, which operates to select a head coach for the national team: "It is not appropriate to talk about it now. Because there will be elections for the president and the Executive Committee in AFFA. Later, we will start negotiations on the Working Group. At the last meeting, no candidate was proposed for the post of head coach, no one's name was mentioned."
It should be noted that the elections in AFFA will be held on April 2.
