Qarabag add sell-on clause in Xhixha's transfer

Details of Qarabag striker Redon Xhixha’s transfer to SSPA Shabab Riadi Belouizdad have been revealed.

Idman.biz, citing Sportinfo.az, reports that the Albanian forward signed a two-year contract with the Algerian club, and Qarabag did not demand a transfer fee despite his contract being valid until next summer.

However, Qarabag included a condition in the deal: if Belouizdad later sells Xhixha to another club, 20% of the transfer fee must be paid to the Azerbaijani side.

Since joining Qarabag in January 2023, the 26-year-old forward has won 3 league titles and 1 domestic cup. He made 73 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing 5 assists.
