Qarabag goalkeeper Andey Lunev can take part in the starting team in only one of the two friendlies of the Russian team to which he is invited.
Idman.biz reports that the decision was made by the goalkeeper coach of the national team Vitaliy Kafanov.
He announced that he will give a chance to one goalkeeper in each of the two matches: "I can't say for sure that there will be different goalkeepers in the starting line-up. How it will be in the course of the game depends on the situation. I want more goalkeepers to participate in these matches."
It should be noted that the Russian national team will face Serbia on March 21 and Paraguay on March 25. In addition to Lunev, three more goalkeepers - Alexander Maksimenko, Matvey Safonov and Yuri Lodygin - were called to the team.
