The Paris Court of Appeal has rejected a request by Real forward Kylian Mbappe to freeze the bank accounts of PSG, Idman.Biz reports citing RMC Sport.
Earlier, the French footballer had demanded the payment of bonuses totaling 55 million euros, as well as salaries for the period from April to June 2024. PSG insist that Mbappe voluntarily waived these payments prior to his move to Real as a free agent. The court dismissed the player’s claim, ordered him to cover legal expenses, and imposed a fine of 3,000 euros to compensate the Paris club’s costs.
PSG lawyer Reno Semerdjian emphasized that the courts have now, for the second time, confirmed the groundlessness of Mbappe’s claims. According to him, the dispute essentially comes down to good faith, respect for values, and the fulfillment of commitments undertaken, and PSG will continue to firmly defend its rights.
