Qarabag’s upcoming UEFA Champions League opponent, Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt, has been fined.
Idman.Biz reports that the punishment is related to incidents during Frankfurt’s home defeat to England’s Liverpool.
The Bundesliga club must pay a total of €39,250 (approximately 76,000 AZN). Eintracht was fined €11,000 (≈21,600 AZN) for closing public passageways, €10,750 (≈21,000 AZN) for the use of pyrotechnics, and €17,500 (≈34,300 AZN) for broadcasting messages inappropriate for a sporting event.
