La Liga president Javier Tebas has described the tense incidents in the recent “Real Madrid” – “Barcelona” match as a negative example.
According to Idman.Biz, Tebas stated that emotional confrontations between players do not properly represent the league.
“The footage from the last El Clasico was not a good example. Players compete at a high intensity that we may not fully understand, but I want to ensure this does not happen again,” Tebas said.
The La Liga president added that such confrontations are not observed in the vast majority of matches held in the league.
