Napoli club owner Aurelio De Laurentiis spoke about the high expectations of football supporters, Idman.Biz reports.
"When I came into football, I knew nothing about it. When I was told about the 4-4-2 formation, I thought it was a way of seating people at a table. Cinema taught me discipline and entrepreneurship. Football is unpredictable; it has no written script.
I bought Napoli when it went bankrupt. We had nothing, but little by little, we achieved everything. Unfortunately, in football, everything happens from match to match. I’ve never heard movie fans constantly demanding more, whereas in football, it’s never enough for fans. They demand new transfers and other things – often these people play fantasy football and know very little about real football.
I feel that most people love me, but those who come to the stadium criticize. Among them, 10-15% are radical, often criminals. Have you seen what happens with Inter and Milan?" - De Laurentiis said in an interview with RSI.
