The AFFA Disciplinary Committee has fined “Neftchi” club 9,700 manats.
According to Idman.Biz, the penalty stems from incidents that occurred during the Misli Premier League’s 8th-round match against “Araz-Nakhchivan” (2:2).
The capital club was fined 700 manats after four of its players received yellow cards.
In addition, home fans collectively used insulting language toward the opposing team and the referees. Since this was the second such incident this season, the club was fined 6,000 manats.
Moreover, as “Neftchi” supporters directed racially discriminatory remarks at opposing players, the club received an additional fine of 3,000 manats.
