An 18-year-old Senegalese goalkeeper, Sheikh Toure, has tragically died in Ghana.
According to Idman.Biz, citing foreign media, the young footballer had been invited to the country under the pretense of joining a professional club and taking part in trials.
However, it was later revealed that those who deceived him were not connected to football but were members of a human trafficking ring.
The criminal group kidnapped Sheikh Toure and demanded ransom from his family. When his relatives were unable to pay the requested amount, the young player was killed.
