Shamakhi’s Abdullahi Shuaibu suspended for three matches, club fined

Abdullahi Shuaibu, the forward for Shamakhi, has been handed a three-match suspension, and the club has been fined a total of 4,500 AZN.

According to Idman.Biz, the decision was made at a meeting of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee.

During the VIII round match against Kapaz, Shuaibu received a direct red card in the 44th minute for aggressive behavior towards an opponent, resulting in a three-match ban. His action also cost Shamakhi 3,000 AZN in fines.

Both teams, Kapaz and Shamakhi, were fined 1,500 AZN each due to the delayed start of the match caused by uniform issues. Additionally, Kapaz must pay another 700 AZN for receiving four yellow cards.

In other disciplinary measures, the visiting team Qabala was fined 700 AZN after five of its players received warnings in the Imishli – Qabala match. Meanwhile, Karvan-Yevlakh was fined 3,000 AZN for arriving late to the Sumgayit – Karvan-Yevlakh match, which caused a delayed start.
