It was previously reported that “Neftchi” had reached an agreement with defensive midfielder Idrissa Doumbia.
Idman.Biz, citing Idmanxeber.az, reports that the new signing of the Baku club has already arrived in the city. An official contract is expected to be signed with him in the coming days.
Doumbia has played for well-known clubs such as Anderlecht, Sporting CP, Huesca, and Alanyaspor during his career. Since 2023, he has appeared in four matches for the Ivory Coast national team.
