The winners of the Azerbaijan Championship have been determined

The Azerbaijan Championship of multi-day cycling in the highway type held in Guba district, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Bicycle Federation, with the support of the Baku City Youth and Sports Department, has been concluded.

According to Idman.biz, in the third stage, which has been held on October 7, the athletes tested their strength in the individual relay in Alpan village. In total, 40 cyclists competed for medals.

Boys born in 2005-2009 covered a distance of 20 km, and boys born in 2010-2011 covered a distance of 10 km in this stage of the competition organized according to the current rules of the International Cycling Union (UCI).

According to the results, in the competition of boys born in 2005-2009, Tural Israfilov (RSCYSOR, 32:25:96) was the fastest, Turgut Gurbanli (RSCYSOR, 36:54:20) was the second, Nihad Khudoyev (RSCYSOR, 37:32:52) were awarded the third place.

In the competition of boys born in 2010-2011, Nihad Khudoyev (RSCYSOR, 20:10:45) won gold, Javid Bakhshiyev (RSCYSOR, 20:42:10) won silver, Röyal Aslanov (RSCYSOR, 21:19:80) won bronze.

After the results of this stage became known, the winners of the Azerbaijan championship in the general classification were also determined. Among the boys who are born in 2005-2009, Tural Israfilov (RSCYSOR, 02:57:38) became the champion of Azerbaijan. Nihad Khudoyev (RSCYSOR, 03:26:56) took the second place, Turgut Gurbanli (RSCYSOR, 03:37:54) took the third place.

In the competition of boys born in 2010-2011, Nihat Khudoyev (RSCYSOR, 01:58:41) won a gold medal. Javid Bakhshiyev (RSCYSOR, 02:05:06) won a silver medal, Royal Aslanov (RSCYSOR, 02:10:55) won a bronze medal.

After the competition, an awarding ceremony has been held. Medals, diplomas and valuable gifts have been presented to the winners.
