Fikrat Huseynov, Executive Vice President of the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation (AzVIF), attended the General Assembly of the International Association of Cycling Race Organizers (AIOCC) in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The event, also attended by UCI President David Lappartien, primarily focused on various road cycling competitions scheduled for 2026. Among these is the 2.1-category Baku–Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race, which will be held from May 10–14.
During the assembly, participants discussed challenges arising during international competitions, solutions to these issues, and the application of organizational experience in other countries. The assembly also included an address by UCI President David Lappartien.
